In Loving Memory of Rhea Orr

Rhea Coleman Orr, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026, at the age of 86, surrounded by the family she loved so dearly.

Rhea was born on August 10, 1940, in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Alexander and Emma Coleman. She was raised on the family farm in Wilford with her four siblings. Life on the farm taught her the value of hard work and gave her a lifelong love of cooking, canning, sewing, gardening, and creating beautiful things with her hands. She especially loved flowers and took great pride in her gardens.

After graduating from South Fremont High School she married the love of her life, Darrell, on November 4, 1960, and began a life centered on family, faith, hard work, and service.

Rhea and Darrell were blessed with four sons, Rick, Robb, Ron, and Rad, and raised their boys in Egin, Idaho, on the potato farm. Their beloved home and farm became a gathering place for their children, grandchildren, and generations of family.

Rhea worked for many years and retired from Madison Memorial Hospital as a Health Unit Coordinator. She also had the opportunity to serve at the Rexburg Idaho Temple, a service she treasured deeply.

Rhea was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings throughout her life. Of all her church callings, her fav orite was serving in the Sunbeams. Her faith was reflected not only in her church service, but in the kindness, generosity, and love she showed to everyone around her. Her greatest joy was her family. She adored her 18 grandchildren and 38 greatgrandchildren and took great pride in each of them. She loved teaching family traditions, making her famous Spud-Nut doughnuts during potato harvest, cooking for her family, and cheering from the sidelines at sporting events. Her home and heart were always open, and she had a special way of making everyone feel loved.

Rhea's life was a testament to love, faith, service, family, and the simple joys of everyday life. Her legacy lives on in the traditions she passed down, the recipes she shared, the gardens she tended, and, most of all, the generations of family she loved so deeply.

Rhea was preceded in death by parents, her husband, Darrell; her eldest son, Rick; and her identical twin sister, Reta, and daughter-in-law Suzelle. She leaves behind her sons, Robb (Jenny), Ron (Lorraine), and Rad (Paula); 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; her sisters Anna Jane, Julia, Emmy, her brother John, and extended family; and many beloved friends.

Though she will be deeply missed, Rhea's family will carry her with them—in their stories, traditions, family gatherings, and in the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Egin Ward Chapel, 1633 East 400 North, St. Anthony. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. both times at the Egin Church. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
